Teachers from multiple school districts are preparing for the new evolution of the alternate assessment. The New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) has been redesigned to align with the New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS). Teachers from Cattaraugus -Allegany County BOCES region have been developing their datafolio-style assessments that are designed to assess students with severe cognitive disabilities.
